Hello ACEE Families, the upcoming season is quickly approaching and I am so excited to see the strides our athletes will make this season! It has been an honor to coach and to play a role in the career and life of all the girls. Our goal has, and continues to be, to ensure that every one of our players are coached with principles that are essential to working with the youth. Including, but not limited to facilitating an environment of mutual respect, open communication and doing every action mindfully with tools to execute them well. In addition to our typical team culture, I would like to inform everyone that this year the ACEE Volleyball Club will be identified as a Christian organization. During our time together in practice and events we will be adding a few activities such as prayer and playing upbeat Christian music. Each team will also get the opportunity to pick their own bible verse as an inspirational affirmation. In addition to their team activities, each team will have the opportunity to serve the community. Please be informed that no athlete will be obligated to participate in faith based activities, nor will any athlete be penalized or excluded for choosing not to participate. This is a decision that I have not taken lightly, and I understand that every change in the program is impactful. While our Christian faith will help guide the values and culture of our organization, our commitment remains the same: every athlete is welcome at ACEE and will be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.
